This presentation shows the Movements of persons of interest, in the afternoon and early evening of Nov.1 - no actual crime events are documented. This file is useful because of the time-line documental hyperlinks at the end - mostly to newspaper articles - which are associated with the individual events depicted in the presentation ... This file is from very early January, so some comments are outdated: eg. the English friends did not return to Perugia for further questioning, the Time of Death has varied, the finding of Raffaele's DNA on the victim's bra changes the possible scenarios, the Polish student has a Serbian name (Jovanovic).

This mini-presentation - Stargate: SciFi Giallo - concerns the location of the Porta Sperandio as an alternative to the door in the city wall which is just steps away from Rudy's and Raffaele's flats, and which is locked at night. The Porta Sperandio obviates the need for a car or for a non-nocturnal visit to deposit the mobile phones on Sra. Elisabetta's lawn.

This is a mini-presentation from old photos with some indicators, to show the angle of vision that the 60 year-old witness would have had. From P.Grimana you have a straight line of sight to the gate, but not with the house. This isn't really a presentation, Powerpoint was just the easiest way to stick it all together.

I'm going to make a post for each month of the investigation, with links to the daily news reports about the Perugia crime which have appeared on the different Italian T.V. channels.

When you click on a specific day, you get a webpage with three parts:
On top: "Active" video which can be viewed from the collection in the second and third parts
In middle: Collection of evening news reports on the subject (the Perugia crime)
On the bottom: Collection of earlier mid-day news reports on the subject
Be sure to scroll to the very bottom of the page to see what's there, sometimes a good lunchtime report gets stuck there.

At times there will be only evening news reports (for example, the day the crime was discovered, 2 November). On other occasions, there are only mid-day news reports (for example, on 9 December as interest fades).

Today I'm posting the November and December news reports. From Nov. 2, every day in November had national television reports on all or some channels. In December, almost every day.

After each daily link, I put in my own summary comment about the main item. Please note that the TV news, which is based on images, is sometimes slower than print or especially Internet to deal with some news items. A questioning session may actually have occurred the afternoon of the day before, but the images weren't ready for the early evening news. The "lingerie" shopping images were from weeks before. Also, some days, like December 14, were loaded with different news items relating to the crime, that can't be summarised in a few words.

Tell me if there is a particular video you would like to see a little larger, because they can be downloaded, and in that case appear about twice as high and twice as wide (ie. four times screen surface) as in these composed pages.

I've been out of the loop lately, though, actually I have really been IN the loop. Thanks to several of you out there I have tidbits of things going on. Perhaps this is a timely presentation. However, I started working on this in mid-May, and am happy to be introducing one of our very own - Kermit - in new and unexpected roles! What a frog.
