THE LOUNGE (The Thread For All Off-Topic Chat)

[font=Comic Sans MS]Since we are now truly a community, an off-topic thread where you can all chat about whatever you like is appropriate. Here, you can chill out, kick your shoes off, put your feet on the furniture and post about whatever you like, serious or silly, important or not....yes...even cats.

Hi Soozie.
I'm so glad to see you here, because I wanted to let you know that I am still shocked and absolutely reeling about the Doug Preston theory not holding water...I feel a little lost, like a ship without a rudder. Hope you are recovering. My best to Ollie.

Hi, Tara and Jumpy
Here is a link to an article about the Caylee Anthony investigation that I read this morning. It has information that I had not seen before re the timeline and the pool (?!):

http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,399183,00.html

It seems less and less likely that they will find that child alive, and while the police say that the grandparents are cooperating, I can't make heads not tails of their reactions and statements! This is a good example of someone not reacting at all in the way that one would expect after the loss of someone they care for--'a grave indication of guilt', if you will.

[font=Times New Roman]And I feel like a cow without an udder, like half of me is missing.

I can't stop. I'm off to my counselling session. This whole Preston thing has knocked me for six

Thanks A2, and hi to Tara too!

I've been following this case a little too much, it is depressing me and I can't keep up. I just can't believe how many developments in so few days. That she might have posed as the nanny? Hmmm. It's a little facinating to watch the grandmother, I confess. The Grandpa just sits there and looks shady and I can't figure out brother. They are all so lost. That little baby Caylee is just too adorable but I am pretty certain she died around the 16th of June. I see today they are checking the lakes near the home. I hope they find her soon so this family can stop the delusions and go on to grieve. I don't think they had anything to do with it, just Crazy Casey, but you can see where she gets her gift of lying. Cindy Anthony should run for office, no?

Anthony case

Postby Tara on Thu Aug 07, 2008 2:21 pm

Hi Jumpy and A2,

Wow, there is news coming so fast, it's hard to keep up on this Anthony case! A2, thanks for that link - very interesting about all those phone calls, shovel borrowing, pool ladder, car backed up against garage, etc. etc. etc. The brother is creepy. I think he may know more about what really happened than Gram and Gramps - although my thoughts on their involvement change by the minute. I wonder if LE knows the DNA results from the trunk and are keeping them under wraps? In any event, it seems like something's going to break loose on this case...soon!

Hi, Tara and Jumpy.

You're right about this case--New information every hour or two. Here's a link with yet some more new information about the mysterious babysitter and about some of Casey's pants that Cindy removed from the car before the police impounded it. Sounds as though this whole thing unravel quickly...
